Yonez French Open 2013 : Chong Wei loss to Tago for the first time

Datuk Lee Chong Wei failed to make one more step to final when Japan's Tago Kenichi show the way out to him.

Tago seeded no. 3 however has to fight until three sets to confirm his luck to final yesterday. He has beaten Chong Wei, 17-21, 21-16, 21-12.

Chong Wei look a bit exhausted has to wait unti 1 hour and 1 minute to let Tago to win the match last night. It is his first win over Datuk Lee Chong Wei in his career.

However, in men's double, Koo Kien Keat - Tan Boon Heong has returned the entrusted to Malaysia fans after defeating national no.2 Hoon Thien How - Tan Wee Kiong 21-19, 15-21, 21-18.

They will oppose Indonesian pairs, Markis Kido - Gideon Markus Fernaldi in the final later today.

Previously, the Indonesian pairs has beaten Liu Xiaolong - Qiu Zihan in three sets 16-21, 21-19, 21-14.

Malaysia Cup 2013 2-leg full results : Sarawak vs Pahang

Congratulation to Pahang after draw against Sarawak 1-1 but win aggregate 4-2. 

The final Malaysia Cup 2013 between Kelantan and Pahang that will be held on November 3rd, 8.45 p.m. at Shah Alam Stadium.

Yonex French Open 2013 Chong wei reach to semifinal

Badminton World no. 1, Datuk Lee Chong Wei sails into semifinals after defeating Boonsak Ponsana 21-13, 21-17 from Thailand at French Open 2013 yesterday.

The match took about 35 minutes in straight sets win by Chong Wei. In another match the third choice, Kenichi Tago from Japan defeating Tommy Sugiarto from Indonesia 21-19, 23-21.

While Jan O Jorgensen from Denmark defeating Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka (IND) 21-19, 21-13.

Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk (THA) defeating Yun Hu straight sets 21-15, 21-19 in 38 minutes.

In semifinal, Datuk Lee Chong Wei will oppose Kenichi Tago from Japan today in semifinal and Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk will take on Denmark's Jan O Jorgensen later today.

In men doubles, Koo Kien Keat - Tan Boon Heong seeded no.4 defeating Chris Adcock - Andrew Ellis in three sets, 21-11, 15-21, 21-17.

In another men doubles national no.2 Hoon Thien How - Tan Wee Kiong successfully defeating the Korean pairs Lee Yong Dae - Yoo Yeon Seong in straight sets 21-13, 21-10.

In semifinal, Koo Kien Keat - Tan Boon Heong will oppose Hoon Thien How - Tan Wee Kiong later today.

Kelantan to the final of the Malaysia Cup 2013 (with pics of the match)

The former champion. The Red Warrior (TRW) Kelantan has confirmed their way to final after defeated ATM with aggregate 4-3. 

However Marlon Alex James has given hopes to ATM by score the first two goals at 18th and 35th minute of first half.

It a bit worried to TRW fans until Fakhri Saarani scored a goal to make a narrow deficit goal 2-1.

After a few minute, TRW captain Piya scored a second goal to tied ATM 2-2. Until the final whistle the Kelantan and ATM tied 2-2 but TRW with previous score on the first league 2-1 to give them the way to final with aggregate 4-3.

Meanwhile another match that will be started on Saturday 26 October 2013 at 8.45 p.m., the host Sarawak will oppose Pahang at Stadium Utama Negeri.

Harimau Muda A may join S-League next year

According to secreatary-general of Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), Dato' Hamidin Hj Mohd Amin, the Harimau Muda A probably will join Singapore League (S-League) next year. It will be finalized on December this year.

It is whether to send them overseas like previously played in Slovakia. By sending them overseas is still on proposal. They have discussed on option place like Slovakia, Brazil and Australia. If failed, they will come back to S-League next year.

For the record, in year 2012  the team was in fourth place with 10 points gap between the champion league, Tampines Rovers. 

If the Harimau Muda A rejoin the S-League next year while Harimau Muda B placed in Malaysian Premier League and Harimau C will join FAM league.

Meanwhile the head coach of Harimau Muda A, Datuk Ong Kim Swee confirmed the friendly match against Jordan Under-23 in Amman from 8 to 20 November 2013.

Next, Harimau Muda A will oppose the third Japanese League team, FC Ryukyu and another team (will announce soon).  It is preparation for the coming Sea Games 2013 in Myanmar on December.

Kim Swee will sure there will be no clash or overlap in the team player and Harimau Malaya because he and Rajagopal alway discuss together on players substitution.

AFF Futsal Championship Malaysia must defeat Thailand

Malaysia national team must revive from the last two match against the host, Thailand tomorrow. It will be third game for Malaysia after they had one win and one lost during previous matches.

Malaysia in group A together with Vietnam, Brunei, Philippine and Thailand. Malaysia must poses high spirit to overcome the host Thailand which already with 28 goals lead the group A.

In previous matches, Malaysia loss to Vietnam 1-2 and win over Brunei 8-4. While Thailand defeated Philippine 20-1 and win over Brunei 8-1.

Malaysia team have to struggle after loss the first match against Vietnam and win over Brunei. With a few slots offer on AFC Futsal Championship next year, Malaysia team believe they just started to make a good path after the first win against Brunei yesterday. 

Malaysia will oppose Thailand on October 22 (Tuesday) and against Philippines on the next day.

Meanwhile Australia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Laos and Timor Leste are in the group B. For time being, Indonesia on the top of group B with 6 points and 29 goals.

Kelantan and Pahang in different mood

Kelantan has a few thing to do before the second league of semi-final will take place at Kota Bharu soon. The match will be held on Friday October 25 at Sultan Muhammad IV stadium. 

Hodak believes the win will be in his side while the fans have  to obey the propose during the match. He hope the advantages as a host and play in front of tens of  thousands of their 'die hard' fans will guarantee their wins against ATM.

Previously in the first league of semi-final, Kelantan win over ATM 2-1. It is not a good result for Kelantan but enough as the second league Kelantan as a home.

Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) for sure they will be able to solve the tens of thousands fans especially the The Red Warrior Fans problems during the match soon. They are ready for any circumference that will occur soon.

In another match, Sarawak will host against Pahang on Saturday, October 26 at 8.45 p.m. Previously Pahang lead 3-1 against Sarawak.

Pahang striker, Azamuddin Mohd Akil or known as 'Alex' admit that they have another 90 minutes for the second leg and anything could be happen. With three goals ahead, it is still not comfortable zone. His resolution to score more goals at Stadium Negeri Sarawak soon and he believe to make it to final.

While Sarawak believe the situation will be different in Stadium Negeri Sarawak. They will use the advantage as home play soon.

Chen Long defeated Lee Chong Wei with straight set 24-22, 21-19. As runner up, Datuk Lee Chong Wei bring back US$15,200 while Chen Long with US$30,000.

International Super Series Hockey 9's Perth, Malaysia in third place

Malaysia men hockey has beaten Pakistan for the determination of third or fourth place just now. Malaysia show their come back after lost to the previous match against Pakistan 5-3.

Malaysia win 2-1 against Pakistan. While Australia defeated Argentina 9-4 to grab the title.
