It was a lucky win for the safeguarding champions who were relied upon to stroll past Brunei after the oil-rich sultanate were soundly defeated 7-0 by Vietnam in their first match at the same venue on Sunday.

Malaysia's three focuses will surely prove to be useful yet it cleared out numerous address stamps over the poor finalizing and a to a degree unsteady resistance that got away discipline – because of Brunei's failure to complete off their scoring risks.

Malaysia's story of missed risks began as promptly as the fifth moment when Ashri Chuchu's cross from the left discovered Rozaimi yet the Sabahan sent his header wide.

At the flip side, on eight minutes, Brunei captain Adi Said had a great take a gander at the Malaysian objective yet sent his header over the bar. Adi was back in the picture three minutes after the fact.

He had the Malaysian objective at his benevolence as the guards were abate to respond and goalkeeper Izham Tarmizi Roslan was compelled to fall off his line – leaving a yawning objective for the taking yet Adi sent his shot into the side mesh. Malaysia got away once more.

Expedient Brunei right winger Azwan Ali Rahman was demonstrating ridiculously hot and leftback Zubir Azmi was having a troublesome time holding him.

Malaysia might have taken a solid lead in the first 25 minutes however the Brunei overseer was everywhere on halting objective bound shots with outlandish spares.

It was disillusionment for Malaysia as Brunei demonstrated no sick impacts of the bashing at the hands of Vietnam as they took the battle to Malaysia – battling for each ball.

As the stadium lights went ahead, woman fortunes blessed the Malaysians and fortunes changed as Rozaimi finaly made the most of it on 30 minutes – whipping Omar with a well taken shot off a through pass from his captain Irfan Fazail.

Anyhow if Malaysia were wanting a torrential slide of objectives after Rozaimi's objective, they were unfortunately mixed up as Omar proceeded his great structure coupled with Malaysia's failure to uncover the net.
