Corruption return plagued Malaysia Football

Since beginning of kick off Malaysia League this year, many viewers raises prejudice against dubious action in the Malaysia Cup 2013 campaign.

Among the surprises so far involving two giant teams, Lions XII and Selangor bringing them at the bottom of Group D and A.

Selangor, 32 times Malaysia Cup champions suffer performance degradation when left in the last position behind Sime Darby, Johor and ATM.

Lions XII, Malaysia Super League champion 2013 only able to gain one point after three matches.

In contrast, Sime Darby and Selangor PKNS lead on each group, A and B.

This situation begins to make some speculation that Malaysia football is back as the corruption plagued 1995.

The Chairman of the Integrity of the Football of Malaysia (FAM), Tan Sri Aseh Che Mat said that until now no officials prosecuted for the corruption.

He welcomed any party to come forward and lodge report or complainant or anyone who has information or evidence to the authorities if true corruption occurs.

"Do not worry all about identity and security that remain safe, I promise," he said.

FAM secretary-general Datuk Hamidin Mohd. Amin will keep monitoring every game to avoid any element of corruption. So far they have collaborated with the Malaysia's Anti-Corruption Commision (MACC) to curb corruption from spreading back in the local football league.

They promise to act immediately if receive authentic information on corruption and not hesitate to take action in accordance with existing regulations.
