Lin Dan or known as 'Super Dan' once again lifting a trophy of the Badminton World Championship 2013. He defeated world number one, Chong Wei, 16-21, 21-13, 20-17 (retire injured).
Super Dan won for the fifth time of the world championship after he become the first wildcard to win the world title.
Lin Dan believed that his arch rival Chong Wei did not give up when Super Dan leading 19-16, he had cramped and was rushed to the hospital after the match.
Meanwhile in the final matches today, China grabs two categories while the other three categories has made a new champion in a women's singles, mixed doubles, men's doubles.

- Wang Xiaoli - Yu Yang F(CHN) defeated Eom Hye Won - Jang Ye Na (KOR) 21-14, 18-21, 21-8
2.) Women's Singles
- Intanon Ratchanok (THA) defeated Li Xuerui (CHN) 22-20, 18-21, 21-14
3.) Mixed Doubles
- Ahmad Tontowi - Liliyana Natsir (INA) defeated Xu Chen - Ma Jin (CHN) 21-13, 16-21, 22-20
4.) Men's Doubles
- Mohammad Ahsan - Hendra Setiawan (INA) defeated Mathias Boe - Carsten Mogensen (DEN) 21-13, 23-21
5.) Men's Singles
- Lin Dan (CHN) defeated Lee Chong Wei (MAS) 16-21, 21-13, 20-17 Retired.
