Malaysia under-13 lost to the host Vietnam Viettel 2-3 in the ASEAN Yamaha Cup 2013 competition at My Dinh stadium, Hanoi yesterday.
Vietnam lead the match 2-0 in the first half at 20-minute and 25-minute. Malaysia show their come back after tied 2-2 in the second half but the last minute score by Bui Anh Duc has really upset the Malaysia team.
The Malaysia u-13 head coach, James Richard Barnett hopes the past will not be end of the journey but he wants his players to learn from mistake. He praised his boys when they able to produce two goals while it was so hard to do that in the match.
The Malaysia goals through Aliff Haikal and Wan Ariff Hakimi.
On the next match of group A, Malaysia will oppose Indonesia Red. It should be the best opportunity to win the match and further to semi-final.
James believe his squad had experienced to absorb the pressure previously and show their actual rise against Indonesia soon.
