New faces new spirit in Harimau Malaya



National coach, Datuk K.Rajagobal satisfied with current performance of Harimau Malaya since last match against Chonburi FC when they drew 0-0 at National Stadium in Bukit Jalil yesterday.


He also happy when the number of few new faces in the team show their great skils and progress. Amongst of the players intended by him are Mohd Job Nizad (Selangor PKNS), Junior Eldstal (Sarawak), Nazrin Nawi (Negeri Sembilan) and Azizi Mat Rose (Kelantan).


The presence of new faces in Harimau Malaya team will inspired him to devised the best and strong team ahead of friendly against Chelsea at Shah Alam Stadium on Sunday, 21st July 2013.

"It is not easy for new faces to show their best game at the first appearance with national team. Honestly, I am very satisfied with their performance. 

"They pretty excited to show their best action after getting the opportunities to represent national team (Harimau Malaya).

"Junior (Sarawak) appearing as a substitute in last 13 minutes with good physical condition and determination, he managed to show his best game so far.


"It also the best game show by Nizad too. I think we should give them the opportunity and space, " said Rajagobal at press conference after the match against Chonburi FC yesterday.


Furthermore, Rajagobal is not interested to measure the result of the game yesterday but the most important is how to build a convincing in the team.

Anyway he still satisfied with the performance of Harimau Malaya especially in second half when the game denominated completely by Harimau Malaya, yesterday.

"The friendly match was pretty good and we looked more aggressive in the second half. 

"After three days of training, I am very happy and satisfied with the progress show by the team even they started slowly.

"I do not want to take risks by let in the key players but the result (draw) was just good enough for me.

"Overall, I see the positive in the game and I want them to enjoy the game," he said.
