Lions XII is the champion of the Malaysia Super League 2013 after win over Felda United FC 4-0. Their success was celebrated together with Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Hsien Loong at Jalan Besar Stadium last night.
This success has treat their disappointment last year when only capable in runner up position after Kelantan.
Shahril Ishak, Lions XII Captain said that the victory to be shared to all their fans that fully support while they up and down in the league. This really encourage them to give best performance until crowned the MSL Champion 2013.
With this victory, Selangor and JDT chance to grab a place in the league champions have been closed. This is because both team have collected 39 points. Lions XII with 43 points is impossible to be challenged while there is one more remaining games left.
