New Harimau Malaya kick off soon

Harimau Malaya initiated steps to a friendly match against Tajikistan in Central Stadium, Dushanbe on August 8. This is the first game under the operating Dollah Salleh preparation for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2014 to be held in November.

In this year, the Harimau Malaya has only one competitive match to meet Yemen Asian Cup qualifier in March 2015 and met twice Philippines friendly matches.

The fact of the Harimau Malaya has the important task to be carried out in November and a staunch supporter of the Harimau Malaya hope it can be realized through the appointment of Tengku Abdullah, as the new President of FAM.
Under the guidance of new coach Dollah Salleh said to have a 'golden touch' with the teams in Malaysia, FAM believe Dollah capabilities to bring back the cup to our country.
In a period of about 3 months before the competition, Dollah need to restore retrust of fan of Harimau Malaya and FAM.
Friendly match with Tajikistan will determine the direction of the national team. FAM believe Dollah able to prove his credibility and subsequent Suzuki Cup AFF Cup starting this November.
By keeping a few old faces, Dollah believes his players can return the AFF Suzuki Cup 2014 to its fans. However, the strength of the team lies in the hands of the players themselves. Among Khairul Fahmi  Che Mat (Apek), Fadhli Shas, Amri Yahya, Mahali Jasuli, Rahim, Norshahrul Idlan Talaha, Safee Sali and Safiq Rahim.
A total of 23 players have been called up for national training and Dollah will call some under-23 players after the Asian Cup in Incheon, South Korea, which will take place this September.
