U.S. Open Squash Nicol retain the championship

As tradition, the top two world class of squash met in final. the second seed, Laura Massaro not easily give the champion to world number one, Nicol David after they have to play for 84 minutes in five set.

The 30-year-old penangite defeated Laura, 13-11, 11-13, 7-11, 11-8, 11-5 win. This is the second time since last year championship. It is also the second win after the Carol Weymuller championship a week ago.

Nicol and Laura have shown their best performance and wait for long patient and well-craft rally during the match. However the world number one show her domination in last two set to reigns the supreme

Nicol said that it was a fantastic journey to win the title for the second time and a week after she win the Carol Weymuller title.

Nicol the champion of Carol Weymuller Open 2013

No. 1 World women squash, Datuk Nicol Ann David proof that she is entitled to be in top world rankings ladder after having successfully won the Carol Weymuller Open 2013 yesterday. 

However the championship honor, Carol Weymuller sent her apologized through email when she was so busy to attend and could not find time to come.

Nicol facing world no. 10, Camille Serme in final. She step to final after beating world no.2 Laura Massaro from England with straight game 12-10, 11-6, 11-4.

In the final Nicol has beaten Camille with score 12-10, 11-2, 11-5.

It was so wonderful day for Nicol  winning the Weymuller open for the first time since 2005.
