Harimau Muda A may join S-League next year


According to secreatary-general of Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), Dato' Hamidin Hj Mohd Amin, the Harimau Muda A probably will join Singapore League (S-League) next year. It will be finalized on December this year.


It is whether to send them overseas like previously played in Slovakia. By sending them overseas is still on proposal. They have discussed on option place like Slovakia, Brazil and Australia. If failed, they will come back to S-League next year.


For the record, in year 2012  the team was in fourth place with 10 points gap between the champion league, Tampines Rovers. 


If the Harimau Muda A rejoin the S-League next year while Harimau Muda B placed in Malaysian Premier League and Harimau C will join FAM league.


Meanwhile the head coach of Harimau Muda A, Datuk Ong Kim Swee confirmed the friendly match against Jordan Under-23 in Amman from 8 to 20 November 2013.

Next, Harimau Muda A will oppose the third Japanese League team, FC Ryukyu and another team (will announce soon).  It is preparation for the coming Sea Games 2013 in Myanmar on December.


Kim Swee will sure there will be no clash or overlap in the team player and Harimau Malaya because he and Rajagopal alway discuss together on players substitution.


Harimau Muda A given a month to think


Harimau Muda A head coach, Ong Kim Swee giving a month to the six of the players to think to stay or move to club statues for next season. 

They are A.Thamil Arasu, Mohd Izham Tarmizi Roslan, Irfan Fazail, Mohamad Fadhli Mohd Shas, Ahmad Hazwan Bakri and Wan Zaharulnizam Wan Zakaria.


The condition given by him according to offers by interested club to 'fishing' them while the squad on the preparation for the Sea Games 2013 on coming December.


As a national coach he said that he will not restricts on the condition because the players still in contracts until end of the year 2013. Most of them hopes to be given offers to play especially for their hometown state.

So he hope at moment his boys not lose focus while they are in the last stage for the preparation on the Sea Games soon. He also hopes the clubs or any football associations will respects their mission to retain the gold medal.


Previously, Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) interested to get service of Irfan Fazail, Fandi Othman and Fadhli Mohd Shas while they are stick with the contract until end of 2014.


Beside that, three of the players, Mohd Syahid Zaidon, Muhd Hazwan Rahman and Izzaq Faris Ramlan will be dismisses after passed 23 years old. Meanwhile 17 of them will sticks with Harimau Muda A for season 2014/15.


He also commented on a question for Asia Cup in Incheon, Korea next year will be another future task while now Harimau Muda A should give priority for the coming Sea Games 2013 first.

Merdeka Cup 2013 Full Results, Malaysia vs Myanmar


Congratulations to Harimau Muda A become the champion of Merdeka Cup 2013 after defeated Myanmar 2-0. Malaysia goals scored by Rozaimi Abdul Rahman at 29th minute and Putera Nadher Amarhan at 94th minute.

Rozaimi completed the ball when Myanmar's keeper failed to catch neatly shot by Wan Zack Haikal. While Putera Nadher easily beat the goalkeeper and swipe the goal into opponent's goal. 

Meanwhile Singapore got third place after defeating Thailand 2-1 today.

I'm still hungry - Rozaimi

Rozaimi Abdul Rahman, Harimau Muda A amongst the best striker was the hero after scoring two goals to help Malaysia gained three points against Thailand two days ago. He claimed that he still not  satisfied with his performance and promise to increase skills to the highest level of his career.


He was listed in the first team squad under-23 years old had scored two goals to repay faith given by the head coach, Ong Kim Swee.


Malaysia with perfects points without lose, won all the group matches will oppose Myanmar as a runner up, four points will replay in the final match tomorrow at 8.45 p.m (Malaysia local time).


For the previous record Myanmar defeated by Malaysia 2-1. 



Merdeka Cup 2013, Ong Kim Swee on Dilemma

Harimau Muda A head coach, Ong Kim Swee in the pleasant dilemma once again when his boy last night able to defeat Thailand 3-0. That's mean he has array of bright talent to call upon.


In the match last night, he has called seven new players in the first team where they comfortably defeated Thailand which made him headache to choose the players for the final match against Myanmar this Saturday.

Otherwise he must has a good calculation to point while the big names is not be a factor when he names a lines up soon. 


He said that all players can play once we need them anytime to replace for the main squad. Actually they are not subs players but in football the team only need eleven first team to play in the field. As a conclusions, all of them are the best to be chosen in the Harimau Muda A.


Kim Swee will see from all contribution given by the players and not because the big names in the team or scorers last night.

Thailand head coach, Kairung Threejagsang was graceful in accepting the defeat even he was claimed the second goal by Rozaimi's hand ball had made upset mood to his boys. The overall game was clearly on Malaysia side.


He really disappointed with the Thai captain's suspended, Mahamasabri where he should become Thailand back up to strengthen or produce goal. 


Maybe if they played with Harimau Muda A earlier, it could have been better.

Merdeka Cup 2013 Full Results Malaysia vs Thailand


Malaysia defeated Thailand 3-0. The goals scored by Nasir Basharuddin 12th minute, Rozaimi Rahman 28th minute and 80th minute.

Meanwhile Myanmar win over Singapore 2-0.

Therefore Malaysia will oppose Myanmar in the final on Saturday, 14th September 2013, 8.45 p.m at Darul Makmur Stadium, Kuantan Pahang.

Germany coach replace Rajagobal?


The Germany legendary name, Rudi Voeller was touted as a prospects head of coach of Harimau Malaya on replacement candidate after Rajagobal resignation 31 December 2013.

Speculation on replacement of Rajagobal triggered after Harimau Malaya with no progress lost nine friendly matches compare two times win and one draw this year.


Former coach of Germany's 53-year-old will be assigned and responsible to bring Harimau Malaya to the weather of World Cup 2018 qualifying round campaign in Russia if true he will replace Rajagobal.

On other resources, Mueller is also expected candidates to help Harimau Malaya at Australia's Asian Cup campaign 2015 if the team successfully passed the qualifying campaign soon.


Football critics, Zakaria Abdul Rahim comment on speculation, he really welcome Mueller to lead the Harimau Malaya.

However Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) must undergo more details review and make the direction of  target if they want to appoint him (Mueller).


"No spending more for Mueller as a coach for hunting greater success for Harimau Malaya. 

"For me, there is no point in appointing him (Mueller) if we just want to reclaim the AFF Suzuki Cup title, better appointed local coaches," he said yesterday.


Meanwhile, the appointed of Rajagobal on April 20, 2009 will be continue services if him successfully passed the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) set by FAM to Harimau Malaya passed the 2015 Asian Cup qualifying campaign.

The others candidates touted to occupy the 'hot seat' after this, including Sarawak coach, Robert Alberts, former Singapore coach, Radojko Avramovic, head of coach of Harimau Muda A, Ong Kim Swee and former  coach of Harimau Malaya, B.Sathianathan.  


"Preparation of World Cup 2018 qualifying campaign should start early. I like to suggest Harimau Muda A or Harimau Muda B for the country's challenge for the campaign.

"In addition, the Harimau Malaya should also make arrangements in Germany where Mueller became coach for early exposure," said Zakaria.


Mueller was the former of coach for several world-renowned clubs like Marseille and AS Roma. Currently he serves as a director sport of  German club, Bayern Leverkusen since 2005.

He has helped German reached the final of the 2002 World Cup before stepped down as a coach after German early exit at Euro 2004 campaign.

Malaysia once again lost to it's opponent, when they easily defeated by Canada,  3-1.


Before, Malaysia easily beat Italy in the group, 2-0. Then Malaysia defeated by Great Britain 2-0 , With group runner up, Harimau Muda A qualified for quarterfinals against Japan. Unfortunately Japan easily defeated Malaysia 4-0. 


Therefore Malaysia meet Canada for placing 7th and 8th position. Unluckily again Malaysia easily defeated by Canada 3-1. We deserved for 8th place from 15 teams. 

Congratulations to Harimau Muda A but Ong Kim Swee's soccer team need more improvements to make sure they are more competitive in future especially when opposing big name in soccer sport.

Malaysia cannot afford to continue the excellent rhythm after defeating Italy, losing to the greatness of Great Britain 2-0.
 
Most of the players were suspended for a red card and injury. Therefore only 13 of them including reserved are allowed to represent the team.
 
Harimau Muda A Coach, Ong Kim Swee has submitted an appeal letter to the organizers to release several players suspended according to inadequate player in the team. The petition requested that his players called from Malaysia but was not allowed by the organizers. This is the most reason why Harimau Muda lost to Great Britain.

Malaysia will play another pool match against Algeria on Wednesday 10 July 2013.
